- My husband & I are currently separated & I would like to hear more about the pros & cons of mediation.
- What stage are you in with your divorce? How do you think mediation might make things easier & better than going through the courts? What are your biggest concerns about mediation? What are the major obstacles in reaching a settlement agreement?

We separated a month ago. While I hope for reconciliation, he has had no contact with me whatsoever. I am starting to explore my options with divorce so that I am prepared for the worst. We've been married only 10 months so I think divorce should be very straightforward and wouldn't necessarily need to include the costs of having attorneys involved. Question for you though -- I am in NJ -- with the laws being different, will it still make sense for me to attend a meet-up? Thanks. Dawn
