Introduction
I live in the Ft. Worth area and needed a nearby support group that understands the difficulties of this process and has experienced some of what I'm going thru.
What are your hobbies or what would you like to do more of?
I enjoy playing golf exercising. I would like to spend more time camping and hunting and spending time w/ my children in the outdoors.
How old are you and where do you live? Please consider sharing your Birthday with us.
I'm 39, soon to be 40. I'm temporarily living in Ft. Worth but will likely move closer to my children in Keller. Birthday is 11-22-69
What are you seeking to gain from this divorce support group?
I'm seeking an understanding and a common ground amongst other individuals who are experiencing this process. My circle of freinds were pretty much my ex-wifes.
What, for you, is the hardest part of the divorce?
The hardest part is accepting the fact that I wasn't apparantly good enough and that I was blamed for not loving enough. Not being around my children as much really hurts. In my ex-wifes eyes, I was a better father than a husband.
How long were you married before your marriage ended, and do you have any children?
I was married for 13 years. I have 2 children, 11 and 8.
